Yes, TW Hydrae has spectral type K8V. That it has an accretion ring is no surprise to advocates of the Reciprocal System. Here, stars move up the Main Sequence, not down, because of the accretion of gas and dust. Therefore, TW Hydrae will go from K to G to F to A to B and O. Of course, the rate of progress depends on the quantity of gas and dust available.
